“I’ve been using Génia Suture Materials in our clinic for several weeks now, and the results have been consistently outstanding. The sutures are durable, easy to handle, and provide excellent knot security — which is crucial during both minor and major procedures.

What really sets Génia apart is the combination of high-quality materials with affordable pricing, making it a smart choice without compromising on patient safety or performance. Whether it’s absorbable or non-absorbable sutures, the range covers all the surgical needs we’ve encountered.

Our surgical team has also noted how smoothly the needles pass through tissue, reducing trauma and improving healing outcomes. We’ve had zero issues with breakage or poor tensile strength, which gives us confidence during every procedure.

Highly recommend Génia for any medical practice looking for reliable, professional-grade sutures.”

Buddy the French bulldog had an ulcer on his right eye which began in November 2025, this was operated on by a specialist ophthalmologist to place a conjunctival graft to protect the eyeball from further damage. As Buddy also suffers with skin allergies, it was really important to ensure he was not able to rub his face to allow his delicate eye to heal. Unfortunately, the standard cones and inflatable collars were not doing the job! He would either manage to escape from them, get around them to scratch his face or they would dig into his neck and irritate his sensitive skin. Luckily, we found a Velfast collar for Buddy, which provided solid protection but was comfortable with the soft edges. As a young, energetic French bulldog, the cone he wore from November 2025 to March 2026 received a thorough wear and tear test, but did its job brilliantly. Tiana, Owner.

We find the Velfast collar so easy and stress free to use. Our children can easily place the collar without any stress. Owning a dog with ongoing skin issues can be distressing but being able to use a collar that prevents her causing her skin to get sore before her morning medication has worked, is so important for us. Kerry, Medivet Peterborough.
