Composition is PDO (poly-p-dioxanone). Smoothness is excellent; flexibility and knot security are good. The suture is sterilised with ethylene oxide and supplied in a “race track” pack that unrolls without knotting and with reduced memory. Each 90 cm strand is individually pouched in aluminium with a quick, easy-open system. Shelf life: 5 years; use immediately after opening. Boxes of 12 sachets.
