Composed of PGCL (poly[glycolide-co-caprolactone]), the smoothness is excellent while flexibility and knot security are good. With a tensile strength duration of 7 days (70%) and absorption time of 90 days, this is the choice for soft-tissue and hollow-organ surgery. Sterilised with ethylene oxide and supplied in a “race track” pack that unrolls without knotting and with reduced memory; each 90 cm strand is individually pouched in aluminium with a quick, easy-open system. Shelf life: 5 years; use immediately after opening. Boxes of 12 sachets. Single use.
