Trapping
MDC's contribution to animal trapping focuses on the welfare of the animal with attention being paid to size, easy operation and minimising the risk of injury by using plastic coating, avoiding sharp edges and ensuring that operating mechanisms are, as far as is possible, kept clear of the animal. The traps described in the following pages are intended for humane use - catching cats for neutering or preventative treatment, capturing a dog which may have evaded other methods or to transfer an animal to a safer environment. The range of MDC traps includes those which are self-actuating and others which are manually operated and in many cases the traps have additional transfer baskets to simplify the process of removing the animal from the trap and provide a means of transport
Restraining
Cages and baskets are needed for a wide variety of applications from accommodation in the veterinary surgery for observation or post operative recovery to the transport of a pet by air from one country to another. In addition there are special requirements for veterinary treatment or the safe handling of wild or fractious animals. MDC offers a comprehensive range of products to cater for many needs.
