For a quarter of a century MDC have dedicated their efforts to the various aspects of animal welfare. By working closely with veterinary practitioners and other specialists in this field, together with acquiring first hand experience, a range of products has been developed to meet specific needs. This essential co-operation with those directly involved in animal welfare continues so that new products are always under consideration and existing products are subject to modification as experience dictates.

Suggestions for new products or for changes to current ones are always welcome contributions to the process of enhancing and upgrading the product range.

Social attitudes towards animal welfare have changed substantially over the years and today there is a widespread concern that animals are treated in a humane way, the fact that animal neglect is still common does not detract from the fact that society at large is more conscious of animal welfare. For this reason it is important that traps, cages and various devices for capture and restraint must be designed to reduce stress and suffering to a minimum. In this respect MDC adheres to a policy of ensuring that its. products are designed to minimise discomfort.
